The Town of Tazewell is soliciting proposals from qualified engineering firms for engineering services for the final design for the development of a downtown revitalization project that will include façade improvements, slum and blight abatement and street improvements. The required engineering services include basic engineering services, inspection services and any additional engineering services deemed necessary. A copy of the full RFP with a Scope of Services and contact information will be made available to interested firms.
Proposals will be evaluated on the following factors:
- Experience with similar projects.
- Familiarity with Tazewell and its existing infrastructure.
- Familiarity with CDBG, VCEDA, ARC, and other potential funding sources.
- Qualifications and availability of personnel who will work on the project.
- Current and projected workload.
