Burn Ban Lifted on October 18, 2019
Due to the recent rainfall and more predicted rainfall, on October 18, 2019, Interim Fire Chief Jason Hodge has lifted the burn ban that was in effect for the Town of Tazewell.

Fire Prevention Parade
The annual Fire Prevention parade will be on Saturday, October 13, 2018. The parade starts at 6:00 pm and will run from Tazewell High School to the Tazewell County Fairgrounds.

Emergency Responder Recognition Dinner
The Town of Tazewell and the Tazewell County Board of Supervisors held a dinner on February 4, 2014 at the Fuller Peery building, in honor of the emergency responders who responded to the New Year’s Eve fire on Main Street.
