Mayor Michael Hoops and Beautification Committee member Flora Sinkford presented the latest awards for home and business beautification for 2021. The volunteer committee works to improve the landscape of our community’s public spaces. The committee also encourages area residents and businesses to participate by improving their streets and neighborhoods through landscaping, maintenance, and general improvements. Monthly awards are given out to those selected by the committee and nominations can also be made by reaching out to Flora Sinkford at the Tazewell Police Department at (276)988-2503
