Job Description:
Performs business attraction, development, and retention efforts. Work collaboratively with stakeholders—ranging from local government leadership, business owners, and community leaders to create partnerships that benefit the local economy and community well-being.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Attract and Retain Stakeholders. Develop a business recruitment and marketing package. Create database of available commercial properties throughout our locality. Collaborate with local real estate agents for potential entrepreneurs and maintain knowledge of real estate sites for sale or lease.
• Strategic Planning. Develop, implement, and administer goals, objectives, and procedures for providing effective and efficient economic development services.
  Community Engagement. Lead efforts in community engagement and public relations, including but not limited to; partnerships and collaborations, promotions for businesses, events, and initiatives.
• Grant/Project Management. Research grant opportunities and administer grants when funding is available for projects.
  Act as a liaison to various committees and external organizations.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business Administration or Marketing is required. Minimum of two years’ experience in community or economic development, public relations, marketing, and planning.

Core Capabilities:
Excellent communication and organization skills, able to work independently, effective in conflict resolution, project management, strong planning, implementation and collaboration skills.

CERTIFIED ELECTRICIAN (FULL TIME POSITION)

Qualifications
• Have required certifications and knowledge of regulations for commercial projects.
• Knowledge of pumps and 3-phase electrical systems.
• Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams.

Work Requirements

• Ability to work in outdoor conditions.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Valid driver’s license.

Starting pay range begins at $23/hour
