Special Called Town Council Meeting

Due to a schedule conflict the Special Called Council Meeting scheduled for Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. has been cancelled.

SPECIAL CALLED COUNCIL MEETING
Set for Thursday, May 4, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. in the Town of Tazewell Council Chambers

The reason for the meeting is to ask questions about the direction change with respect to the Ramey Lot with John Wack who will be here in person. John Wack is the President of Eastern Sports Management LLC in which we have retained to manage and operate the indoor Sports Complex facility that was originally planned. However, there has been a recent change in direction for the old Ramey lot. The objective of this meeting is to be sure and not repeat design and engineering tasks already completed for the development of the proposed soccer fields on that property. This meeting will allow Council and staff to ask questions to John Wack with Eastern Sports Management in an effort for Council to make educated decisions on how to move forward.
