Tazewell takes the Polar Plunge
Tazewell Today celebrated their Winter tradition of a Polar Plunge on Saturday, February 24th, at Lincolnshire Park. The annual event helped raise funds for the Labor of Love Mission.

Shop With a Hero Held

The Town of Tazewell hosted its annual Trunk-or-Treat this year on Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at Lincolnshire Park.
The Town of Tazewell would like to thank all the many volunteers for the Trunk or Treat who devoted their time to help create a fun night for everyone. We appreciate Sharon Kitts with S.A.T.I.R.A along with her husband Tim Kitts and two volunteers who set up the movie screen and played the movies, R & B Bouncers, LLC who set up the bounce houses on the tennis courts, Nathan Thomas and Adria Community Church for setting up the games for the children to play, THS Project Graduation for setting up a booth, Belle Patterson for handing out free popcorn and hot chocolate, the staff in each department (Administration, Public Works, Police, EMS, and Recreation) at the Town of Tazewell for organizing, planning, and assisting anyone at the event, and all the vendors who handed out candy. We hope we have not missed anyone. Please know we are grateful for the assistance from everyone. We appreciate your patience, kind words, and many suggestions for helping the event grow next year. We look forward to gathering lots of positive input in the future for creating a special night for everyone to fellowship and enjoy!
