The recycling bins have been removed from their location beside the Old Corner Store. We are looking at a couple options where we can relocate them. We hope to have a permanent location for them soon. Please bear with us during this time of transition.
The Town will be billing for the 2015 real estate and personal property taxes in the month October. If you have not received your tax ticket by November, please call us. Taxes are due December 5th. Penalty and interest will be added to any delinquency.

If you haven’t downloaded the Taz Town App, you should! This app is a great way for us to notify you of important information, such as water outages and road closures in your area. Help us help you stay in the loop. Available on Apple and Android operating systems. Allow “Push Notifications” to receive when one is sent out.

October 6th Paint it Purple
Paint it Purple, sponsored by Clinch Valley Community Action Family Crisis Service. They are asking local businesses, schools, churches, organizations and interested citizens to wear purple and/or to display a purple ribbon on their front door.
