ARMY ACHIEVEMENT MEDAL

 

 

     Officer McGuire Graduated Southwest Law Enforcement Academy with the 75th Law Enforcement Basic School. He serves as the department's Domestic Violence Coordinator, specializing in domestic situations, and as a Field Training Officer for the department, training new officers in department policy and patrol procedures. 

He has been certified in RADAR, Tactical Baton Training, O.C. Spray, Biohazard Body Fluid Recognition, and Drug Interdiction Training. Officer McGuire also serves as one of the department's Intoxilyzer Operators. This training certifies him to run the Intoxilyzer 5000 which is used to determine the Blood Alcohol Level (BAC) concentration in a persons blood after being arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

     Eric served as a Military Police Officer in the United States Army. During his four years of service he was an Honor Graduate in his basic training, and he received the Army Achievement Medal for outstanding military police work in the field.
