Main Street Moments is an annual event that is historically held during the last week of July. During the regular scheduled June Town Council meeting the Council voted to postpone the July event until the weekend of August 14th. Moving the event date would allow more time to hopefully see the COVID-19 numbers reduce. Unfortunately, the numbers seem to be rising at a rate that is making large gatheringsS not very practical. The cancellation of this event also includes the scheduled Cruise-In and Concert originally planned for August 15th and the Main Street Moments Concert that was scheduled for August 14th . We are very sorry for any inconvenience this cancellation has caused but feel confident a decision has been made that is in the best interest of health and safety. The 2020 Main Street Moments will be held on Friday, August 14 and Saturday August 15, 2020!
(***Please note the event was originally scheduled for July 24-25, but due to COVID restrictions the date has been adjusted. The August date will be reviewed by Town Council again at the June meeting, as the Governor’s orders are updated.***)

Main Street Moments is coordinated by Tazewell Today and the Town of Tazewell. It is a community street festival that includes food vendors, artisan and craft vendors, musical performances, along with community groups and civic organizations. FOOD VENDORS
Food Vendor fee is $50 for setup from 10 AM – 3 PM
Food Vendors must leave Main Street by 4 PM. For Food Vendors, a liability insurance with a minimum of $1 million in coverage is required. Food Vendors must meet all Health Department requirements, which will be provided upon application receipt.

NON-FOOD VENDORS
Non-Food Vendors have these setup options:
optionally setup on Saturday, August 15, for our Main Street festival from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm (you must leave by 4:00 pm before the Cruise In starts) for a fee of $35
optionally setup on Saturday, August 15, for our Main Street festival from 10:00 am – 9:00 pm (you would stay for the Cruise In that starts at 4:30 pm) for a fee of $50
Non-Food Vendors that select the $35 option must leave Main Street by 4 PM.
Only Food Vendors paying the Food Vendor fee will be allowed to sell drinks and food consumed on site.

RULES & AGREEMENT
Booth spaces are non-refundable.
Spaces are 18’x8′ (parking space).
We reserve the right to accept or reject any vendor at any time. The Chairperson will decide where vendors will be placed.
We ask that you remain setup for the duration of the event.
Vendor setup begins at 7 AM.
NO political parties or candidates.
All vendors must agree that neither the Town of Tazewell, Tazewell Today, or any other sponsor will be responsible or liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged articles or merchandise displayed by the vendor.
