The Town of Tazewell held the first of it’s Cruise In summer series on Saturday, June 21, 2014. Vintage cars, trucks, and motorcycles were on display, and the musical group Pieces of One entertained the crowd at this free event.
The second Cruise In was held on July 26, featuring music from the Beach Nite Band, following the conclusion of SummerFest 2014.

All types of vehicles will participate, including fast and furious cars, motorcycles, street rods, classic and muscle cars, as well as kids pedal and battery operated mini cars.
The parade will begin at 4:30 p.m., with line up beginning at 3:45 p.m. at the old Ramey Ford location at 910 E Fincastle Turnpike. Vehicles will cruise to Main Street where they will line the street to be displayed throughout the evening.
In addition, each driver will receive a free 8×10 color picture of their vehicles. These pictures will be distributed to the drivers at the September 20th event.
On August 16, the Kids Our Age Band will be featured on the Altizer Stage at 7:00 p.m., playing hits from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. This three-piece combo plays music for all ages to enjoy. There will also be food vendors, merchandise, and kids activities located along the street.
Main Street closes at 4:30 for autos to line up.
