At the most basic level, the SPRING EXPO is an event focused on AWARENESS…
Awareness of like-minded community members who can support you and vice versa.
Awareness of local businesses who are driven to make a difference.
Awareness of strategies that will dramatically improve your health and quality of life.
Awareness that Tazewell County can become one of the healthiest places to live in Virginia if we work together!
During this event we will have everything from healthy snacks, vendors showcasing their products and services, TONS of raffle prizes, and a community that is coming together for a common cause.
On April 27th at 8am-2pm at Nuckolls Hall, we will be hosting the first ever SPRING EXPO where admission is FREE TO THE PUBLIC and you will get ONE raffle ticket once you enter AND all proceeds from the event will be donated to Chamber of Commerce (additional raffle tickets for purchase).
This is truly a MUST ATTEND program because we are expecting 100′s of people in attendance throughout the day and we can assure you that the experience will be filled with FUN, POSITIVE ENERGY, and AMAZING RELATIONSHIPS!
The Tazewell County Donnie Lowe’s Kids Fish Day is a day for children ages 0-15 to come to Lake Witten and have an enjoyable day fishing and participating in community activities. |This band is centered around the guitar of Teddy Steele whose style reflects some of his many influences such as Billy Gibbons and Eric Clapton. Steele knows when to slow it down and when to burn the house down. He has been a well-known figure in the blues scene of Southwest Virginia and has also played The White Mountain Boogie and Blues Fest as well as the Cincinnati Blues fest with Deborah Coleman and Albert Cummings. Teddy is accompanied by vocalist Rebecca Tinsley whose style and influences are among Bonnie Raitt and Susan Tedeschi. Along with the talented rhythm section of George Bowen (sax, slide guitar, harmonica), Tom Pridgen (drums) and Ashley Steele (bass) you have a band that you will want to see time and time again.
