Currently there are no positions available in the Public Works Department.
The Town of Tazewell Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Patrol Officer. Town applications are required. Minimum qualifications include: 18 years of age or older; have current Virginia drivers license or capable of obtaining such; be in good physical condition; and must be willing to work a variety of shifts. Criminal background checks, including a medically administered drug test or tests will be required prior to final offer. Individuals already certified by the Department of Criminal Justice are preferred. Good oral and written communication skills a plus. Entry salary level DOE/Q with an excellent benefit package.
